Remembering Hank, supporting automotive students
The Hank Souders Memorial Scholarship at SIU
Henry “Hank” Souders, a sophomore in Southern Illinois University's School of Automotive, died September 21, 2024, a victim of a traffic accident on campus heading to work as a certified motorcycle license instructor.
To honor his memory, his family and the SIU Foundation have established the Henry "Hank" Souders Memorial Scholarship to benefit School of Automotive at SIU students.
